Information for pilgrims

  • The festival Into the Miracles begins on 1 July 2023 in Dudince, where the pilgrims’ registration and the evening programme will take place from 16.00 to 20.00.
  • From 2 July to 4 July 2023, pilgrims will travel along the route Dudince – Sebechleby – Stará hora – Baďan – Bátovce.
  • The festival ends on 4 July 2023 in Bátovce with an evening programme.
  • 5 July 2023 is the departure day from Bátovce.
  • Festival program, the exact route, and all necessary information will be sent to pilgrims by the promoters after purchasing the ticket by e-mail and no later than 1 June 2023.
  • Pilgrims will be provided with a printed and an electronic map with the marked route, places and times of individual productions, as well as marked points of interest along the route (monuments, places of interest, natural phenomena, etc.)
  • The organisers will provide special markings over the entire route as well as volunteers on standby along the route and at the individual productions.
  • Pilgrims will be provided with sites for overnight stays – 4 nights (Dudince, Sebechleby-Stará hora, Baďan and Bátovce), where they will be able to pitch their tent.
  • Mobile showers and toilets will be available at the overnight sites.
  • Pilgrims will be provided with breakfast (4 days), small snacks (fruit), and drinking regime (mineral water, tank with drinking water) throughout the route.
  • There will be local food producers and food trucks along the route where pilgrims will be able to purchase lunch and dinner.
  • Toilets will be available in the villages along the route.
  • Pilgrims who come to Dudince by car will be provided with an unguarded parking lot in Dudince for the entire duration of the festival (4 days).
  • After the festival, organisers will provide a shuttle service back to the parked vehicles.
  • The organisers will arrange daily collection of sleeping bags, tents, and other luggage and their transport.
  • In case of storms or bad weather, organisers will arrange alternative places to sleep – community centres, rectories, municipal offices, etc. (in the participants’ own sleeping bags).
  • There will be paramedics and volunteer firefighters on the route and at individual mass events.

 

Pilgrims:

  • Will fill in a registration form sent to them by email within 7 days of purchasing the ticket.
  • Physically register at the beginning of the whole route in Dudince and check in at the checkpoints along the route.
  • Will wear a wristband during the duration of the festival which entitles them to enter the festival events, the overnight accommodation sites, and the breakfast.
  • Will bring their own tent, camping mattress, and sleeping bag or whatever is needed for an overnight stay.
  • Will respect the organizers’ instructions and recommendations on the schedules of the different routes and the artistic productions on them.
  • Are aware that some productions are entered at their own risk.
  • We strongly recommend bringing: hiking clothes, comfortable hiking shoes, spare socks, headgear, a raincoat, repellent, sunscreen, your own water bottle, power bank.
